Load Weather Data
Pick an Idaho city or drop your own EPW file. Every hour of the year is laid out as a grid — day of year across, hour of day down — and recolored by whatever question you ask of it.
What this is. A carpet plot of the full weather year. The grid never changes — only the coloring rule does — so the same eight-thousand-hour canvas answers different schematic-design questions: where the comfortable hours sit, when heating versus cooling is needed against a chosen balance point, and when the climate is dry enough for evaporative cooling. Turning on the adaptive setpoint lets the comfort line drift with the running outdoor temperature instead of holding a fixed value — fewer hours read as "cooling needed" once the band is allowed to float.
