ℹ️ Understanding the Sun Path Diagram

  • Center = Zenith (directly overhead, 90° altitude)
  • Outer circle = Horizon (0° altitude)
  • Concentric circles = Altitude angles (10°, 20°, 30°... 80°)
  • Radial lines = Azimuth angles (0°, 10°, 20°... 350°)
  • Top = North | Right = East | Bottom = South | Left = West
  • Each curve shows the sun's path for a specific month with hourly positions marked
  • Summer paths (Jun) are higher in the sky | Winter paths (Dec) are lower in the sky
