Retrofit Audit

SOLIS is a self-contained, field-to-report audit tool for K–12 lighting retrofits under Idaho Power’s Commercial incentive programs. Survey the existing system, model the LED retrofit, compare every incentive path, and generate the verification report — entirely in your browser, online or off.

The Audit Workflow — Six Steps

1
Project & Building

Establish the building profile — name, address, year built, gross area, and Idaho Power account — that anchors every downstream calculation.

2
Fixture Typology

Define each unique existing fixture and lamp with its wattage. These types drive the baseline connected load and the proposed LED replacement.

3
Walkthrough Survey

Record fixtures room-by-room. The walkthrough is the single source of truth for counts — quantities roll up automatically, no manual re-entry.

4
Operating Hours

Set daily and weekly schedules per space. Annual operating hours convert connected load into the kWh that determine savings and incentives.

5
Utility Rates & Data

Idaho Power Schedule 9 tariff rates are built in. Import billing and interval data and peak demand auto-fills — overridable when you need it.

6
Incentive Path & Reports

Compare all six mutually-exclusive retrofit incentive categories, apply the one you’ll pursue, and export the cover, full audit, and project-summary reports.

What It Does

Never double-counts incentives

The six retrofit paths — Pin-base LED, HID-to-LED, LED tubes, LLLC/NLC, Level 1, and fixture removal — are exclusive. SOLIS compares them and recommends the highest-value eligible path.

Schedule 9 cost modeling

Energy and demand charges are calculated from the published Idaho Power Commercial tariff and your own billing and interval data.

IECC 2018 LPD check

Compares the building’s lighting power density against the 0.87 W/ft² school allowance and flags the gap to compliance.

ROI & simple payback

Net-of-incentive project cost, annual energy savings, and payback period — calculated live as you adjust the retrofit.

Print-ready reports

A branded cover, the full lighting verification report, and a one-page project summary, ready to hand to a client or attach to a rebate application.

Runs anywhere, offline

A single HTML file with no server and no install. Calculations are validated to the penny against the source audit workbook.
